Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

Manuscript Submission :

The Journal for Sport Law, Policy and Governance accepts and reviews submissions on a rolling basis. Submission must fall within the scope of the journal, which can be found here. The submission undergoes a rigorous blind double peer-review process. We attempt to review and process articles within 4 weeks of submission. Please follow up with us if you have not heard back from us within 6 weeks.

Permission:

Authors who desire to incorporate figures, tables, or textual excerpts that have previously been published in other sources must acquire permission from the respective copyright owner(s) for both the printed and online formats. Furthermore, authors must provide documented proof of obtaining such permission when submitting their papers. In the absence of such evidence, it will be presumed that the material originates from the authors themselves.

Online Submission:

Please follow the "Submission Page " and and upload all of your manuscript files following the instructions in the form.

Source Files:

It is imperative to ensure the inclusion of all pertinent editable source files during each submission and revision. Failure to provide a comprehensive set of such files will render your article ineligible for review. When submitting the manuscript text, it is essential to utilize widely used word processing formats such as .docx.

** Presently, the prevailing standards for authorship criteria do not find Large Language Models (LLMs), including ChatGPT, to be in compliance. It is essential to acknowledge that authorship attribution entails a sense of responsibility for the work, a concept that is not adequately applicable to LLMs. Hence, the utilization of an LLM within a manuscript necessitates comprehensive documentation within the Methods section (or an appropriate substitute section in the absence of a dedicated Methods section).
